HUMAN RESOURCE SENIOR MANAGER- Ontario, Canada.

As a strategic partner, the HR Manager aligns business objectives with employees and management in the business units for which they are responsible.?
Successful HRM will act as an employee champion and change agent while still acting in the best interest of the business and the client.?
The HRM formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.
The HRM may include international Human Resource responsibilities.?
The HRM maintains an effective understanding about the business units financial position, its culture and its competition.?
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:??
- Partner with business in implementing effective people initiatives & interventions to drive employee engagement and improve retention.-? Lead Performance Management process including effective succession planning, and execution of Performance Improvement Plans-? Drive HR Practices (Skip meetings, Appraisals, Induction for new employees, One on One?s with employees) and controllership of the practices-? Partner with Resource allocation group in hiring and separation of resources.- Consult with line management providing HR guidance when appropriate.- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with business unit to develop solutions and programs.- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.- Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigation.?- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required.- Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation to all employees. ? Adhere to compliance terms for new hires, promotions, transfers, and Compensation Changes.?- Assist international employees with expatriate assignments, movements and related HR matters.?
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor Degree in HR or Business related field; Masters Degree preferred- PHR or SPHR certified- Minimum of 5-7 years of increasing HR responsibilities- Experience resolving complex employee relation issues in consulting firms.- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including employee relations, diversity, performance management, learning and development, federal and state employment laws with an emphasis in California State employment laws- International HR experience; experience with expatriate management, visas, work permits, Global Mobility- Experience working in complex Matrix Org Structure and with Virtual teams

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
